Description
Live edge English oak mantle clock, Fitted with a Skeleton Movement, got lots of character and is all genuine 100% English Oak. Would look great on the mantle or on any shelf in a home or office setting. Would also make a great gift for that someone special in your life.
In Greek mythology The oak is considered sacred to Zeus, King of the Gods and in early Europe, tribes worshipped the oak and connected it with a thunder or lightening God. Every 4 10 years certain oak populations will synchronise to produce almost no acorns at all, only to rain them down excessively the following year, known as a mast year. Only one in every 10,000 acorns results in an eventual tree.
This clock is finished in clear Danish Oil and is fitted with a battery operated silent skeleton movement. All of our movements are guaranteed for 12 months from date of purchase.
